Agreement and service scope

By accessing or using GreenLight, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

GreenLight provides informational tools for understanding and organizing a USCIS case journey. Features can include a status decoder, private case records, checklists, reference timelines, Community Pulse aggregates, email, AI-assisted RFE drafting, and paid digital access or deliverables.

GreenLight is not a law firm, does not represent you, and does not provide legal advice. GreenLight is not affiliated with USCIS, DHS, or any U.S. government agency. Using GreenLight does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Do not rely on GreenLight as the only source for a deadline, filing requirement, eligibility decision, case strategy, or legal conclusion. Verify important information with current official USCIS materials and, when appropriate, a qualified immigration attorney.

Accuracy and estimates

Statuses, explanations, processing references, Community Pulse observations, trends, and timelines are informational. Community data is self-reported and thresholded. Processing information can change, lag, or differ by form, office, category, and case facts.

GreenLight does not promise a decision date, outcome, approval, response from USCIS, or uninterrupted availability. A displayed range or comparison is not a personal prediction.

AI-assisted material

Some decoder fallbacks and RFE drafting tools use DeepSeek. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your facts. A generated outline or letter is a starting draft, not legal advice, legal representation, or a guarantee that USCIS will accept the response.

Do not submit a receipt number, A-number, name, address, financial account number, medical record, or other sensitive personal information in an AI-assisted field. Review, correct, and support every generated statement before using it. You are responsible for the final material you file or send.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activity. Provide accurate information, use only case information you are authorized to handle, and keep your sign-in method secure.

Do not abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, bypass limits or entitlements, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, manufacture Community observations, or use GreenLight for unlawful activity. GreenLight may limit or suspend access to protect users, providers, or the service.

Prices, checkout, and payment processing

GreenLight can offer free features, recurring subscriptions, and one-time products or access. The product, price, currency, billing frequency, included features, and any usage or regeneration limits shown at checkout control that purchase. Marketing summaries do not replace the checkout terms you accept.

Stripe processes payment and billing details. You authorize Stripe and GreenLight to process the charge shown at checkout and to store the billing identifiers needed to grant access, prevent duplicate fulfillment, handle refunds or disputes, and reconcile entitlements.

Recurring subscriptions

A recurring plan renews at the interval and price shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancel through Account settings or the available Stripe billing portal before the next renewal. Unless checkout says otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and paid access continues through the already-paid period.

One-time purchases

A one-time offer charges once for the access, product, document, or entitlement described at checkout. A one-time case plan is not a monthly subscription. A generated-document purchase can include only the number of drafts or regenerations shown in the product flow.

Refunds

Unless the checkout, a specific written offer, or applicable law says otherwise, charges are final and GreenLight does not provide prorated refunds for a partially used subscription period or a delivered digital product. Contact GreenLight promptly about a duplicate charge, failed fulfillment, or billing error so it can be investigated.

Account deletion and billing

Deleting an account is not a substitute for resolving active billing. The product blocks account deletion while an active subscription, open checkout, or processing payment remains unresolved. Cancel or resolve those items first, then retry deletion.

Account deletion removes the Supabase Auth identity and linked application rows according to the Privacy Policy. Identity-free fulfillment receipts, Community observations, backups, and records required for security, tax, billing, disputes, or legal obligations can remain.

Privacy and service providers

GreenLight's handling of browser data, case sync, AI input, analytics, email, payments, retention, and deletion is described in the Privacy Policy and Privacy Architecture. Those disclosures are part of these Terms.

Ownership and permitted use

GreenLight and its licensors own the service, branding, software, original templates, and product content, excluding your own lawful input and material owned by third parties or government sources. GreenLight grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal or authorized internal use under these Terms.

You keep responsibility for content you provide and for having the right to use it. You may use a generated deliverable for your own authorized case work, but you may not resell, mass-republish, or use GreenLight to create a competing dataset or service.

Availability, changes, and termination

GreenLight may change, pause, discontinue, or limit features to maintain security, comply with law or provider requirements, correct errors, or improve the service. GreenLight may terminate access for material abuse or violation of these Terms.

GreenLight may update these Terms. The current revision date appears at the top. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and cancel any recurring plan.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GreenLight is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, case outcome, or legal sufficiency.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GreenLight and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, missed deadlines, immigration outcomes, lost data, or decisions made from product content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
